A bit about me…

My name is Cordelia Klammer, and I am an NYC-based Actor and Singer. I came to NYC from Cleveland in 2023 to pursue my BFA in Drama at NYU and am currently heading into my Junior year of my studies. Before coming to NYU, I studied Screenwriting at Cleveland State University and participated in Disney Performer Workshops on the Imagineers Campus.

As a child, I started performing Musical Theatre in yearly Summer Camps, before taking on the Theatre program in my School, where I planted my performance roots.

In High School, I performed in multiple Plays and Musicals, but also worked behind the scenes frequently, handling Makeup and Wardrobe and, my favorite by far, Assistant Directing our production of The 39 Steps. I also performed in multiple auditioned choir groups throughout High School, including being the Vocal Director of Show Choir for 3 years and a member for 4.

Since coming to NYC…

Since coming to NYC for Acting, I have learned more about the arts than I ever could back in Ohio. I’ve spent 4 Semesters intensely studying Method Acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, along with other courses offered, like Tai Chi, Dance, Dialects, and many more.

I’ve also found an Academic interest and focus in my Social & Cultural Analysis Minor, allowing me to feel more understanding and communicative in unfamiliar situations. It has always been a standard of mine to be conscious of the prejudices perpetuated in our everyday lives and to play my part in eliminating them.

In my past 2 years of learning this craft, I have worked on multiple student film projects as well as in-class workshops for my peers.
